  • Overview

    Halifax Health is seeking a Critical Care Equipment Technician.

    Summary

    The Critical Care Equipment Tech maintains levels of supplies and equipment in critical care areas, maintains cleanliness and safety of units and reports defective equipment to the Nurse Manager or Medical Equipment Tech.

    Job Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Experience as critical care technician preferred.
    • Nursing Assistant, SPD or OR experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of medical and nursing equipment and procedures
    • Good communication skills and the ability to follow oral and written instructions.
    • Good computer skills.
