Halifax Health is seeking a Senior Auditor for the Internal Audit Services Department.
This individual will be responsible for performing independent and/or team internal audits/projects (i.e. operational, financial, compliance, information technology) in accordance with the annual audit plan, perform special projects as requested, prepare appropriate workpaper documentation supporting the audit work performed and conclusions made, prepare verbal and written communication to management on the results of audits/projects completed, and attends professional training to meet education requirements.
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related concentration.
Healthcare and/or auditing experience required.
Professional certification such as a CIA, CPA, or CPC.
Ability to perform audits based on audit standards and programs.
Effective analytical and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to build working relationships with Team Members.
