Overview

Halifax Health is seeking an ERP Analyst for Business Intelligence.

Summary

Under the direction of the Business Intelligence Manager the Workday ERP Business Intelligence Analyst provides consultation and assistance to users of applications to include analyzing user requirements; designing and developing reports and presentations; troubleshooting and resolving issues; training users; and writing user documentation.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of analysis and translation of user requirements into specifications and preparation of detailed design/implementation documentation.
  • Analytical reasoning and logical problem solving.
  • Knowledge of application design, build, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of using business applications for collaboration and communication.

(Preferred)

  • Workday Certification
  • Experience with ERP solutions like Workday and Kronos business applications.
  • Knowledge of architecture including on-premises and Cloud business applications.
  • Knowledge of agile project management.
  • Ability to advocate for appropriate technology solutions and to continually advance the organization’s readiness and capabilities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Users in this role may be responsible for any of the following:
    • Business Intelligence development
    • Report Writing
    • Data Extraction
    • HCM (Human Capital Management)
    • Finance
    • Change Management
    • Testing Coordination
    • Data Conversion
    • Integration
  • Prepares reports on the application; writes documentation to describe application logic, and corrections as needed; creates any needed instruction manuals or help screens describing installation and operating procedures; and maintains documentation as necessary for operational and security audits.
  • Understand the underlying application schema and be a data steward to assist in queries, views, stored procedures, reports, and ETLs.
  • Add, modify, and audit system/user permission to applications, maintain appropriate system security levels.
  • Runs application testing on designated programs, and provides accurate, quality analyses of new applications.
  • Participate in technical decision making to include testing and tech reviews.
  • Assist with application task automation and workflows.
  • Participate in agile team projects.
  • Trains and supports the staff in using the applications.
