Halifax Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst I for the PBFS - Administration Department.
Work with operational functions and data related to Revenue Cycle systems, specifically dealing with patient liability. Perform tasks related to the hospital Revenue Cycle while supporting and acting as a liaison between billing systems, staff, and leadership. Review patient liability related reports and trends to give analysis on account receivables activity to leadership. This includes the review of hospital, physician and third party billing systems for Collections and Customer Service. Develop training materials, operational reporting, and creation of workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Health Services Administration, Health Information Management or relevant degree required or Associates degree with minimum of 4 years of experience in revenue cycle.
Internal HFMA credential required (must be completed within six months of hire).
Two years of healthcare, business or analytical experience required.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects.
Proficient in creating training materials and documentation with the ability to train others.
Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient PC skills and knowledge. Understands intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of explaining procedures in writing/verbally.
Must be able to function and meet deadlines under stressful conditions.
Hospital Electronic Medical System training highly recommended.
