Halifax Health is seeking a 340B Program Compliance Analyst for the Pharmacy

Summary

Manages and coordinates the 340b program, Pharmaceutical Company drug replacement programs and revenue for high cost pharmaceuticals. Responsible for analyzing and exploring opportunities to optimize overall pharmacy financial performance.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's/Pharm D. degree in Pharmacy or a 2 year Associates degree in business, accounting or health related field with excellent knowledge of drug products.  Knowledge of regulatory requirements of 340b program, CMS/Medicaid and reimbursement.  Strong skill set with 340b bill splitting software, patient accounting applications, Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Access.

Either a licensed Pharmacist in the state of Florida or 3-5 years experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy buyer, experience. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask/change tasks frequently and quickly.  Must demonstrate successful time management skills.  Must be able to independently problem solve, organize workload, accomplish goals and objectives and meet deadlines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures compliance with 340b program requirements for all eligible entities.

Maximizes 340b program opportunities.

Maintains Mapping for Sentry DS to capture eligible dispensations.

Monitors systems to ensure that software and tools are working properly and accurately.

Coordinates with vendors as needed.

 

Identifies opportunities for Pharmaceutical Company drug replacement program.

Manages a program to capture opportunities.

 

Monitors net revenue on select high cost outpatient drugs.

 

Supports PBFS Audit Coordinator on chart audits.  Provides data and defends eligibility for Pharmaceutical Company 340b audits.

 

Identifies opportunities to capture lost charge revenue on high cost drugs..

 

Monitors SNHPA AND OPA publications and websites to maintain knowledge and expertise in 340b regulations.

 

Leads and directs the work of employees involved with the medication procurement programs.

 

Tracks expense reduction and revenue enhancement outcomes.

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   Occasional walking, frequent sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs
