Halifax Health is seeking a Boiler Operator for the Facility Operations Department.
This individual is responsible for the operation of the steam boiler equipment, incinerator equipment and water system, includes water treatment and repairs of all equipment. Assists in maintenance, repairs, inspections and testing of boilers, incinerator equipment. Orders and maintains medical gases for the hospital. Operates the incinerator/waste heat boiler system. Assists in transporting trash and waste to county landfill.
Performs welding and piping repairs to the boiler system as well as other mechanical systems.
Performs maintenance and repairs to reverse osmosis system.
