Overview

Halifax Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the Rehabilitative Services Department.

Summary

The SLP evaluates pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and medical history to determine appropriateness of speech/language/oral pharyngeal intervention and, if indicated, initiates the proper assessment and therapy per receiving physicians order. 

 

Job Qualifications

  • Master's Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology Program/Communication Disorders.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Possesses knowledge and skills to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
